Fixed Term Locum Relief Support Workers (Department of Health - Care Assistant Disability Services salary grade)
Summary of the Role of Support Worker:
Support Workers provide a key-working supportive role for individuals supported by the service. The role involves supporting individuals in all aspects of daily living, focusing on their abilities and promoting independence and skill development. Support Workers assist with developing person-centred plans, achieving personal outcomes, and enabling participation in community life through inclusive and creative approaches. They are also responsible for personal care, including meals, hygiene, and physical well-being.
The Brothers of Charity Services model is based on Personal Outcome Measures, requiring flexibility in working hours to ensure quality service delivery.
