Job Description
Job Summary: The Trainee Manager will support the management team in overseeing daily operations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring effective control of production, costs, and compliance.
This role is designed to develop future management capability through hands‑on exposure to operational, financial, and performance management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support production control activities to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards are consistently met.
Contribute to operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting implementation of best practices across the business.
Monitor profit and loss performance, identify areas of financial loss, and support cost‑control measures to improve overall profitability.
Play an active role in shrink control by monitoring stock losses and ensuring adherence to internal controls and procedures.
Support waste control initiatives to reduce inefficiencies and promote sustainable working practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety procedures, supporting the maintenance of a safe and compliant working environment.
Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators to assess performance and drive improved outcomes.
Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and losses, preparing clear reports and escalating findings to higher management with practical recommendations.
