Senior Tax Analyst – Fixed Term Contract

Abrivia Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the technology and entertainment sector to recruit a Senior Tax Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified tax professional to join a growing and globally recognised business with a collaborative and innovative culture.
The successful candidate will report to the Tax Director, EMEA and will take ownership of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities across the EMEA region. The role involves a mix of hands‑on tax operations and strategic input, working closely with global teams and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, coordinate, and review corporate tax returns across the EMEA region, ensuring timely filing and payments
Oversee VAT/GST and withholding tax (WHT) returns for relevant jurisdictions
Support monthly and quarterly US GAAP tax provisioning, including current and deferred tax calculations
Assist with tax audits, inquiries, and controversy matters as they arise
Collaborate with global tax, finance teams, and external advisors on transfer pricing documentation
Partner with Legal, Accounting, and FP&A teams to support tax‑aligned strategic initiatives
Provide technical tax support on commercial transactions and restructurings across EMEA entities
Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, advising on business impact and opportunities
Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the tax function
Support ad hoc advisory projects across the business
Requirements:
AITI qualified, ideally trained in a large practice, with ACA qualification a strong advantage
Minimum 7 years’ experience in tax/accounting or relevant industry role
Strong experience in tax compliance and provisioning across multiple jurisdictions
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Google Suite
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team
Experience in transfer pricing
Exposure to financial/tax modelling and automation
Experience working in a multinational or fast‑paced environment
