Known for their high-quality product range and longstanding relationships with contractors and key industry players, they are now seeking a Commercial Directorto take full ownership of their commercial function.
This is a senior leadership role and a key hire for the business as they look toscale operations, increase market share, and drive revenueover the coming years.
The Role: As Commercial Director, you will lead thesales and commercial strategyfor the business, managing a team of4 field-based salespeople and 2 internal sales staff.
You will be responsible forsetting pricing,sales forecasting,reporting, and overseeing all commercial operations, includingquotes, tenders, and large-scale project support.
This is ahands-on leadership rolewhere you will work closely with the senior management team to define and execute growth strategy, improve performance across the sales function, anddrive profitability and pipeline conversion.
You will also act as a key point of contact for major accounts and play an active role in high-value deals.
What We're Looking For:10-15 years' experience in a senior commercial, sales or director-level role within the Irish construction industry Strong track record of leading commercial teams, setting and delivering on sales and revenue targets Experience managing tenders, contract negotiations, pricing, and forecasting A confident, strategic thinker who is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and leading from the front Knowledge of construction sector routes to market, including main contractors, sub-contractors, architects and developers Based within commuting distance to Dublin, with flexibility for 2 days on the road or working from home Full clean driving license The Package: Base Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 DOEBonus: 10%Company Car + Fuel Card Private Healthcare Pension20 Days Annual Leave This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic commercial leadership role within a well-respected Irish company with the backing, product, and team to scale significantly in the coming years.
