A well-established, highly regarded not-for-profit community care organisation providing home care, meals on wheels, day centre, 24-hour responder and other services to people in the North Dublin area is seeking an ambitious, innovative Chief Executive Officer to lead their operations in Ireland.
The organisation supports older persons, families, and individuals with a wide range of needs - including those with intellectual, physical, sensory and mental health disabilities, children with special needs and people requiring palliative or dementia care.
By enabling service users to live safely and independently in their own homes, their service plays a vital role in strengthening communities and reducing pressure on acute health services.
Responsibilities In collaboration with the Board, set and achieve the organisations strategic goals Display strong leadership and employee engagement skills, providing leadership and development opportunities to staff Embody the organisation's culture, values and mission statement, behaving in a manner that enhances the organisation's reputation with internal and external stakeholders Responsible for relationships with staff, service users and HSE, including the negotiation and agreement of SLAs and KPIs, funding levels etc Consistently strive to innovate and improve the organisation's service offerings, with a focus on quality, accountability and continuous improvement while staying true to its founding belief: that every individual has the right to remain at home, supported with compassion and respect, for as long as possible.
Responsible for the financial management of the organisation including budgeting, forecasting and actual performance, and oversight of the provision of management accounts.
Uphold the highest levels of quality and compliance, managing reporting to and liaison with counterparts in the HSE, adhering to Department of Health regulations, HIQA Standards for Home Support Services and Standards for Better Healthcare are adhered to.
Qualifications Senior experience, specifically within the Home Care field in Ireland Relevant clinical background is advantageous Knowledge of the HSE's structure, funding models and operational processes, and network of contacts and relationships within the HSE Experience in public procurement and tendering 3rd level qualification in business, health care or social care Skills: CEO not for profit community care home care Head of Operations
