Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Packaging Equipment Project Engineer to join the CAPEX Projects Team, in a pharmaceutical assignment located in Carrigtwohill, Cork. This is initially an 18-month contract, with the view to extension.ResponsibilitiesProjects to Deliver: Packaging Equipment Upgrade and Investment in Packaging Operations Centres. (High-Speed Secondary Packaging Line for Vials, Packaging Line Vision Systems, Pallet Movement AGV System)Develop Equipment Solution and URS with Packaging & Engineering End-UsersSource & identify equipment solutions with appropriate equipment vendorsDevelop Capital Budget for the project and input to Capital Application documentationManage and execute the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and qualification phases of the projectComplete site change management activities for the introduction of the equipmentManage cross-functional in-house and external project teamProject Scheduling & Cost Control with regular reporting to key client stakeholdersEnsure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of the project.Project Validation execution.Project Scheduling & Cost Control with regular reporting to key client stakeholdersManage project changes and ensure all are captured, documented and assessed.Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of capital projects.Project Validation execution.RequirementsDegree in a relevant science / engineering disciplineExperience in working in client-side Capital Projects execution roleExperience in Client Electronic Change Management Systems & full end-to-end Project Life-cycleExperience in managing cross functional teams and projects in a GMP Manufacturing EnvironmentUnderstanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements of the Pharmaceutical industryStrong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Understands the project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation, and project closeout.8 to 10 years (minimum) of project management/engineering experience across the project life-cycle within a Pharmaceutical environment.Why Join Arcadis?At Arcadis, we empower individuals to excel because your contributions matter.
