Your missionOverviewWorking as part of our busy and talented team and taking the lead on the front of house reception, this a key role to our practice and to our patient experience.Your profileMain Duties and Responsibilities: To meet and greet patients and visitors to the practice in a friendly and courteous mannerEnsure patients are checked in and all essential documentation is completed and confidentially filedAnswer all incoming calls and deal with queries as appropriateResponding to patient and client requests and directing them to the appropriate personScheduling appointments for patients, doctors and nurses using our internal systemsPrepare and update patient lists and extract patient notes when requiredFiling of medical notes, letters, test results and other correspondenceRegister new patients on the computer systemOrdering office supplies, stationery & equipmentOpening and distribution of postUnderstand the usage of the practice email and internet systemAssist in the opening, closing, and securing of the building at the start and end of the working daySupport the administration function in a range of dutiesSupporting Physicians with queriesOther related duties commensurate with the role and the qualification as requested from time to timeEssential Characteristics: Deal with your work in a confidential, polite, and professional mannerExcellent communication skills both written and verbalExcellent IT skills including all MSOffice packagesStrong time management skillsWork well as part of a team to provide a quality serviceWork with great accuracy and attention to detail in particular when dealing with all patient recordsAble to work in a self-directed manner and is motivated and enthusiasticAbility to be flexible as and when required, have a "can do" attitudeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsSick paySchedule: Hours : 37.5 Hours per week, Monday - Friday, 1 Hour lunch-break.Day shiftNo weekendsAbout usMedmark is a leading national provider of occupational health.
