ABOUT THE ROLE:
Do you love working with your hands and solving technical challenges every day? Are you the go-to person when something stops working at home?
We're looking for a skilled Small Appliances Technician with hands-on experience repairing a range of household and personal care devices - from hairdryers to small air conditioners. If you're confident diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on small electrical appliances we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assessing a variety of devices and their faults, organizing parts and repair to successful conclusion.
· Maintaining proper testing and quality control procedures put in place by the company
· Recording all results into the companies repair system
· Assisting to improve quality and productivity within the working environment and to help fellow colleagues in enriching their skills and to troubleshoot.
· You must be willing to share your experience and help develop less experienced colleagues while furthering your own knowledge.
Skills and personal attributes required:
· Strong diagnostic skills for identifying electrical and mechanical faults in small appliances
· Hands-on repair experience with a variety of household and personal care devices (e.g. hairdryers, hair straighteners, fans, air conditioners)
· Understanding of electrical circuits and appliance components
· Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
· Experience in soldering and component replacement
· Knowledge of safety protocols and electrical compliance standards
· A good level of spoken and written English (Communicative)
· Proficient in using testing tools and repair equipment
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs efficiently
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Basic computer literacy for logging repairs and updating job status
· A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new repair techniques and share your knowledge with your colleagues
