Role Description
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will play a key technical leadership role within complex power system projects, covering the full project lifecycle from tendering to execution. The position involves electrical design authority, coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams and close collaboration with project, sales and site teams to ensure delivery in line with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
Location: Ireland (Hybrid) with travel to Dublin and project sites.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in power systems engineering, ideally in utility or industrial substations
Proven experience leading engineering activities on complex projects
Strong knowledge of electrical design, engineering processes and CAD tools
Ability to coordinate internal teams, external partners and suppliers
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, results‑driven and comfortable working under pressure
Strong commitment to safety, integrity and continuous learning
