About the Role:

As Group HR Generalist for The Ashe and Manor West Hotels, you will report directly to the General Manager in each property and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of HR support across both hotels. You’ll support key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, documentation, training coordination, and compliance. The focus will be on the daily needs of the business, working closely with department managers and teams to ensure smooth, people-focused operations on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and support across both hotels.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation in collaboration with management.

Support / manage employee relations issues and ensure fair, timely resolution in line with company policies and Irish employment legislation.

Maintain accurate HR records and coordinate with payroll for timely updates.

Administer HR systems including absence tracking, contracts, training logs, and other records.

Support and coordinate training, learning, and development initiatives across departments.

Promote health, safety, wellbeing, and a positive working environment.

Help embed a culture of fairness, respect, and accountability across the business.

Liaise regularly with the external HR consultant for strategic input, guidance, and alignment.

Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and compliance practices.

Be flexible and adaptable to the operational needs of both hotels, including occasional travel between properties.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and professionalism in all interactions.

Candidate Requirements:

A relevant HR qualification is advantageous

2+ years’ experience in a HR generalist role, preferably in hospitality or a similar service environment.

Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.

Experience handling or assisting with employee relations cases in a confident and fair manner.

Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Discreet, trustworthy, and professional in all dealings.

A collaborative team player with a people-first approach and a strong sense of initiative.

Able to travel between The Ashe and Manor West Hotels on 2 / 3 day rotational basis.

Positive attitude, adaptability, and professionalism in all interactions, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
