My Client provides services in the Food & Beverage Services sector to a range of high-profile private sector and public sector organisations – the company operates in a very competitive tendering environment where we compete against large multinational companies who operate with significant marketing structures. They have grown significantly over the last 5 years and the company has ambitious expansion plans.
They are currently seeking a Bid Manager to join our team at our Head Office on a fixed-term, 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role, working Monday to Friday.
The Tender Bid Manager is responsible for the planning and co-ordinating of the tender process – this involves co-ordinating timelines, managing interaction with the various departments, managing project strands, measuring milestones and compiling and assessing the final tender document. The Tender Bid Manager will work closely with the cross-functional team that works on all tender bids – this team usually has the following members: Chief Executive, Business Development Director, Operations Director, Head of Culinary Operations, Head of Marketing, and other departmental heads.
Our tenders are formulated in a software package called “In Design” and tender submissions are generally online file submissions. Visual imagery and videos form an important and expanding part of the tendering process for Food & Beverage activities. PowerPoint presentations also form part of the tender process at completion stages.
