Join KPMG Ireland as a Senior Payroll Assistant located in Dublin, working in a hybrid model.
Position: Officer (Permanent, Finance – Payroll Department)
Key Qualifications
Minimum five years of experience in a payroll team
Completed the IPASS Certified Payroll Technician course
Previous SAP experience preferred (UK payroll experience is a plus)
Strong Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Team player with excellent attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with discretion due to the confidential nature of information
Responsibilities
Prepare and process monthly payrolls
Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing, including shadow payroll calculations, deductions and statutory contributions
Produce monthly payroll reports
Process and submit statutory returns to Irish Revenue and HMRC (including RPN and FPS submissions)
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Respond to employee queries in a timely manner
Handle ad hoc duties as required

The Payroll team is part of the KPMG Finance Department and is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for KPMG employees. The team works collaboratively to meet strict payroll deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Team members also support employee queries and work closely with HR and other internal departments.
