This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned medical device company on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential of a permanent role in the future for the right candidate.
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring all manufacturing processes are run safely and to schedule. You will report to the Engineering Manager or Engineering Lead.
About Our Role:
We design, develop and manufacture innovative minimally invasive medical devices associated with various medical specialties. Our teams bring novel solutions to market and continuously develop internal equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate and lead project teams with engineers, technicians and other professionals to improve product, equipment and fixture processes.
* Initiate and develop process validations, software validation and equipment validations.
* Design, develop and optimize equipment for more complex applications.
* Perform engineering work including process/product improvements, test of materials, preparation of specifications and report preparation.
* Understand and perform project plans, risk analysis and project updates.
* Understand and create Process FMEA review and update.
Requirements:
You will have a minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering plus two years' experience (ideally in the medical device) or a Master's degree in a technical field. GMP experience is a distinct advantage.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland and hold an existing work permit or EU passport. No visa sponsorship will be offered with this role.
