A Planning and Development Manager is required to manage residential led development projects through feasibility, design and planning stages. The role involves input into financial appraisals, contract negotiations, service charges and presentations / reporting to senior management.
The ideal candidate will have a planning or property related degree/post-graduate qualification, with previous experience of taking projects through the planning process. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for the candidate to gain exposure to the entire development process. Key accountabilities include keeping abreast of legislation and national planning policy, supporting internal teams in relation to planning elements, managing external professional teams, and liaising with local authorities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
