Position Summary
Guggenheim Partners Europe Limited ('GPEL') is seeking to hire two 2027 graduates for Summer Internship roles. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a buy-side 'Front Office' investment team based in Dublin, operating as part of a globally recognized investment firm with $345bn of AUM*.
The role will focus on analysis of companies in the European corporate credit market in order to develop investment recommendations for leveraged loans, corporate bonds and private credit.
Analysts benefit from comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing mentorship, as well as the opportunity to interact with and learn from senior investment professionals on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
* Assisting senior investment professionals in the evaluation of investment opportunities through:
* Undertaking detailed fundamental research on target companies and sectors.
* Undertaking financial statement and balance sheet analysis.
* Constructing detailed financial models and investment memos.
* Attending meetings with management of potential investee companies.
* Continuous monitoring of performance of existing investments.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* An excellent academic background including a minimum of 2:1 Honors degree in a Finance/ Quantitative/ Business Studies/ Legal/ Engineering discipline.
* Applicants without coursework in accounting should be able to evidence independent learning/ research into the high-level workings of financial accounts.
* Applicants must possess a valid work permit for the Republic of Ireland.
Preferred Qualifications
* Excellent analytical ability, business acumen and demonstrated desire to work within the investment management industry.
* Good Excel skills, given the role's focus on financial modelling.
* Good verbal and effective written communications skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver reports and presentations.
* Strong self-motivation, desire to listen and to learn, and ability to work autonomously.
