Commercial Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by delivering commercial management services and ensuring that all commercial activities are aligned with our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Deliver Commercial Management Services: You will be responsible for the delivery of commercial management services for individual projects, ensuring that all commercial activities are aligned with our company's objectives.
* Establish Best Practice: You will establish and promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters in conjunction with our SHQE department.
* Provide Assistance: You will provide assistance to the Senior QS and support on all commercial issues within the project(s).
* Culture Development: You will encourage and develop a culture of commercial awareness within the team.
* Site Compliance: You will ensure that the site team adheres to group procedures and governance.
* Work Delegation: You will delegate appropriate work to junior staff while maintaining accountability.
* Reporting: You will prepare internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required.
* Valuations: You will prepare valuations and applications for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract.
* Cost Reports: You will prepare cost reports to the client with contractually compliant supporting documentation.
* Procurement Schedules: You will prepare and manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
* Administration: You will administer subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorization of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
* Contract Administration: You will undertake contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.
* Risk Identification: You will identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change.
* Record Keeping: You will ensure that the correct site records are maintained.
* WBS Structure: You will implement a WBS structure to satisfy the client and contract requirements.
* Cash Position: You will assist with preparation of the cost to complete and risk analysis register for the project(s).
* Change Events: You will prepare change events, extension of time claims, final accounts etc.
* Quantity Measurement: You will measure quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement as required.
* Client Management: You will ensure appropriate client management is initiated and maintained.
* Cash Flow Improvement: You will help to maximize the cash position, including WIP control, cash flow production & improvement plans.
* Margin Improvement Plan: You will maintain/assist in the production of the margin improvement plan on the project.
* Other Work: You will undertake any other work as required by your line manager.
* Client Engagement: You will attend client engagement events for equivalent level customer feedback.
* Business Improvement Initiatives: You will involve yourself in business improvement initiatives.
