Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Forensic Mental Health
Location: Dublin, Ireland
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in need.
About the Role:
* You will work as part of a broad multi-disciplinary team within a closed, medium security prison for adult males.
* Your primary responsibilities will include assessment, treatment, and intervention with clients who have been referred to the IPS Psychology Service.
* You will provide individualized, evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health difficulties and criminogenic needs.
* In addition, you will contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and participate in regular team meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You must be eligible for graduate membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
* You should hold a postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology recognized by PSI, or Counselling Psychology recognized by PSI.
* Desirable qualifications include experience in addressing emotional, mental health, and/or offence-related difficulties with a forensic or inpatient population, as well as consultation, education, guidance, and support to multidisciplinary colleagues.
