Overview
The purpose of the CNM2 in the Acute Virtual Ward is to provide clinical leadership, operational coordination, and governance oversight for the delivery of acute care in the home setting.
The CNM2 ensures that safe, high-quality, patient-centred services are delivered using digital health technologies and evidence-based care pathways.
Responsibilities
Lead clinical governance and service delivery for acute care in the home setting and oversee digital health-enabled pathways to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Qualifications and Requirements
Have at least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years full-time post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the specialty or related area.
Be registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered.
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Post Specific Requirements
Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of recent Acute Nursing as relevant to the role.
