About the role
We're looking for a
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
to join CHEP – the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You'll maintain and improve manufacturing equipment using a multi-skilled approach, working to high safety and reliability standards in a fast-paced, automated environment.
What we need from you
* Irish NFQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi-skilled Engineering Qualification
* Electrical bias is essential – must hold relevant electrical qualifications
* Multi-skilled across electrical and mechanical disciplines
* Experience in fast-paced, safety-driven environments
* Strong fault-finding skills (electrical, mechanical, PLC)
* Ability to read engineering drawings and operate workshop tools
* Experience and/or certifications in automation, PLCs, and robotics highly desirable
* Safety-conscious, adaptable, and a team player
