My client, a leading global provider of fund administration and alternative asset services, is currently seeking an experiencedAVP - Fund Accountant Assistant Manager - Hedgeto join their growing Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a high-performing Fund Accounting function, working with complex hedge fund structures and a diverse international client base.The RoleAs anAVP, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality Fund Accounting services while leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing the review and approval of daily, weekly and month-end NAV calculations and valuationsEnsuring accurate and timely service delivery to assigned hedge fund clientsManaging team performance against agreed service standards, deadlines and KPIsActing as a senior escalation point for complex accounting matters, including OTC derivativesMaintaining strong client relationships and ensuring SLAs are consistently met or exceededProviding governance and oversight of work performed by shared service centresDriving continuous improvement initiatives, including process efficiency, automation and system enhancementsSupporting new client onboardings, product launches and regulatory or group initiativesMonitoring risk, controls and performance metrics in line with a risk-based approachCollaborating closely with internal stakeholders including Investor Services, Depositary, Product and Technology teamsLeading, coaching and developing team members, with a strong focus on training, succession planning and career progressionAbout You3–4+ years' experience in Hedge Fund Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roleStrong technical knowledge of hedge fund structures and complex OTC derivativesExcellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS applicationsDegree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (preferred)A proactive leadership style with a strong client-service mindsetWhat's on OfferSenior leadership role within a global fund services environmentExposure to complex hedge fund clients and structuresCompetitive salary, benefits and flexible working arrangementsInterested in Applying?If you are interested in making this position yours, please contactLouise Delaneyon and clickApplybelow.Quest Recruitmenthas been votedBest in Practice Accounting & Financein2022, 2017, 2015, 2013 and 2012.
