We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant specialising in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) within our Transfer Agency team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in onboarding a significant new client while enhancing our AML framework. Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Consultant AML, you will operate under general supervision, focusing on key initiatives within the department. Your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Client Onboarding: Act as the first point of reference for day-to-day queries related to the onboarding of a large new client, ensuring a smooth process for both clients and internal stakeholders. 2. AML Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Global AML standards to provide guidance and support throughout the onboarding process, contributing to the organisations compliance objectives. 3. High-Profile Activities: Engage in complex, high-profile activities that involve direct interaction with committees and senior management. You will be responsible for providing updates through KPIs and presentations. 4. Analytical Skills: utilise your excellent analytical, consultative, and communication skills to evaluate and enhance existing processes, ensuring adherence to AML policies and regulations. 5. Project Leadership: Lead projects as needed, demonstrating your ability to manage timelines and deliverables while mentoring and training lower-level staff to build a strong team. 6. Policy Maintenance: Focus on the maintenance and implementation of AML policies and procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of the function and establishing yourself as an area expert. 7. File Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of AML files, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation analysis, screening, risk assessment, and quality control of colleagues work. Knowledge & Skills Required: Strong project management and communication skills. Robust working knowledge of the organisation, industry standards, and relevant technology. Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Experience: A minimum of five years of AML experience, preferably within a Transfer Agency or similar environment.
