Cost Accounting (Inventory) Manager Contract Location: Dublin, County Dublin Type: Full-time | Contract (12 months, with possibility of extension) A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the biopharmaceutical sector to recruit a Cost Accounting (Inventory) Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a global leader in a high-impact role focused on inventory and cost of sales accounting. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Finance Manager and will take ownership of global inventory consolidation and analysis. The role involves a mix of hands-on cost accounting and strategic financial control. Key Responsibilities: Perform inventory, cost of production, and cost of sales accounting for manufacturing and contract sites Prepare and review complex journal entries, general ledger analysis, and reconciliations in SAP Produce audit schedules and support internal/external audits, including physical inventory count planning Review and lead key accounting control functions such as inventory reserves, step-up, and standard costing Consolidate and report global inventory balances and analyse variances by product and site Manage and review work of outsourced providers and support integration and process harmonisation Drive improvements in accounting processes and support SAP S/4HANA implementation Requirements: Qualified Accountant with 4+ years' PQE in general, cost, or inventory accounting OR Bachelors degree with part qualification and 6+ years relevant experience Desirable: 5+ years experience in SAP-based accounting Experience in corporate-level finance roles, US GAAP, and foreign currency accounting Strong project leadership and collaboration skills Experience managing outsourced accounting partners Exposure to financial systems improvement and implementation Benefits: 12-month contract with potential for extension Opportunity to join a global biopharma leader To Apply: Click 'Apply' to submit your application.
