Overall Job Purpose:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel to the highest standards, including bathrooms, stores, and corridors. Communicate with guests to ensure their needs are met, and any requests are fulfilled.
Role Specific Duties:
1. Arrive for work on time, in proper uniform, and with a name badge.
2. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
3. Clock in/out according to the Company Clocking Policy.
4. Deliver exceptional friendly service to every guest, aligned with the Talbot Collection 'Empower Your Excellence' customer service program.
5. Adhere to all fire, safety, and hygiene regulations, complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005 as detailed in your staff handbook.
6. Familiarize yourself with and follow company policies and procedures outlined in your staff handbook.
7. Perform duties as outlined in departmental SOPs.
8. Safeguard company money, goods, and assets.
9. Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally, notifying management as needed.
10. Clean all bedrooms, whether departures or stayovers, according to hotel training manuals and SOPs.
11. Handle guest property with respect and care, reporting and recording any items left behind.
12. Keep work belongings, such as trolleys, clean, tidy, and fully stocked; maintain storage areas per SOPs.
13. Ensure all public areas are clean and tidy, with equipment, wires, linen bags, etc., maintained safely as per SOPs.
14. Be aware of standards regarding towel quality, bathroom supplies, and room layout as per SOPs.
