About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Kitchen/Chef Assistants to join our catering teams for temporary event-based work in Galway/Claregalway and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong kitchen background who enjoys working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities: Support chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating as needed Assist in setting up and clearing down kitchen and food service areas Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Help with stock rotation, labeling, and storage Follow all health & safety and HACCP guidelines Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen or catering environment Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland. Own transport and full driving licence required as no public transport to the venue Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitude Valid Manual Handling and Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
