Title: Accounts, Payable/Receivable Location: Cork Terms: Full Time, Permanent Package: €40,000-€45,000 (DOE) Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis.
The role will primarily focus on accounts payable and receivable, with a strong emphasis on VAT compliance.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Company Director, Transport Manager, and billing personnel, as well as liaise with our external accounting firm to ensure accurate financial processing and compliance with Revenue VAT obligations.
Once fully trained and established in the role, the option for partial remote working may be discussed.
Key Responsibilities Accounts receivable and credit control Processing supplier invoices and payments Accounts payable and general administrative duties VAT management, including ensuring correct VAT treatment on all invoices Timely preparation and submission of VAT returns to ensure compliance Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving queries Liaising with external accountants on VAT obligations Supporting billing and credit control processes Requirements Previous accounts experience Good knowledge of VAT (Irish context preferred) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Competent with accounting software and Excel IAC-Jan25 Skills: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable VAT
