General manual / semi-skilled tasks on site as directed by Site Foreman including operation of plant items where operative has necessary ticket / certificate.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Carry out his/her works daily safely so as to not endanger his/herself or any other worker or member of the public.
· Perform tasks assigned to them on a daily basis.
· Attend Health & Safety Training where required.
· Wear all necessary PPE for the task being undertaken and maintain in good order.
· Notify Site Foreman immediately if any equipment is in their opinion defective / unsafe for use or if any work area is unsafe.
ISO Responsibilities:
* Comply with Riverside Mechanical QHSE Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
* Understand and apply our QHSE policies statement in all aspects of your work.
* Contribute towards achieving Riverside Mechanical company objectives
* Ensure that the needs and requirements of Riverside Mechanical internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
* Help develop and improve Riverside Mechanical internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.
All General operatives must hold a valid Safe Pass card and Manual Handling prior to gaining access on site.
