Customer Care Team Leader – Business Sales
Our client’s Business division operates across all business markets, delivering high‑speed broadband alongside a comprehensive portfolio of data, voice, and security solutions.
Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Manager, this role is focused on driving growth and expanding market share within the business customer segment.
Duties & Tasks

Interact with clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Deliver customer presentations and webinars.
Manage and grow a customer base through multiple engagement channels.
Upsell products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs and sales targets.
Produce weekly and monthly reports on sales pipeline performance, key metrics, and KPIs.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align activity and maximise effectiveness.
Upsell across multiple product sets and verticals, as agreed with the Enterprise Sales Manager.
Negotiate commercial terms and multi‑year agreements with customers.
Manage time effectively to prioritise sales activity and customer engagement.
Leverage social media platforms to support sales and customer engagement.
Work in line with agreed product, market, and business rules.
Support go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches.
Continuously develop knowledge through self‑learning and market awareness.
Build a strong competitive understanding of customer environments and needs.
Undertake additional duties as required from time to time.

You Will Need

2–3 years experience in a similar sales or business development role.
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
A reasonable technical understanding of connectivity, data, voice, or security technologies.
Full clean driving licence.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment and embrace change.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and building long‑term relationships.
Strong communication skills, including confidence engaging with customers over the phone.
Comfort handling objections, queries, and concerns professionally.
Enjoyment of working towards targets in a sales‑focused environment.

Customer Care Team Leader (Maternity Cover)
Employment Type: Fixed‑Term ContractLocation: Limerick
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Customer Care Team Leader will be responsible for leading a Customer Services Support Team of approximately 15 direct reports.
This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role with full accountability for the end‑to‑end performance of the team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced people manager with strong operational knowledge across customer care, product, and support processes. You will foster a positive, can‑do culture while working collaboratively across multiple lines of business within the customer care function.
This role carries direct responsibility for daily operational delivery, performance management, quality standards, and KPI achievement across first‑line and second‑line customer support activities. The Team Leader will lead through influence and collaboration, working side‑by‑side with their team to motivate, mentor, and drive consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a customer services team to achieve operational and performance targets.
Drive and motivate the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Set, measure, and review individual and team KPIs through formal and informal feedback mechanisms.
Develop and enhance value‑added customer care within the team.
Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring timely escalation and effective resolution.
Identify service issues and improvement opportunities and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
Drive commercial awareness and support commercial initiatives within the team.
Assess ongoing training needs and deliver coaching and development activities accordingly.
Support the Operations Manager and wider leadership team as required.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, procedures, and operational updates.
Act as a point of reference and provide technical guidance to team members.
Support other business areas in line with operational requirements.

Skills & Experience
Essential:

Experience working in a fast‑paced environment, ideally within a busy contact centre.
Proven people management experience, with a minimum of 1 year leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, effective working relationships.
