GBHI works to reduce the scale and impact of dementia in three ways: by training and connecting the next generation of leaders in brain health through the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health programme; by collaborating in expanding preventions and interventions; and by sharing knowledge and engaging in advocacy.This is a highly collaborative role, working in a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment.The Education and Engagement Researcher will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of the learning experience program for the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) at Trinity College Dublin. This is a non-clinical role focused on enhancing educational, research, and community engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include providing organisational support—such as timetabling and coordination—for the Clinical and Lived Experience Programme, without delivering clinical care.The researcher will ensure that Atlantic Fellows gain meaningful, well-structured exposure to both clinical services and community supports for older adults, with a particular focus on brain health and dementia. Working across the Irish health ecosystem, they will coordinate placements, integrate lived experience into training design, and evaluate program outcomes using robust research and data analysis methods.This role will also deliver other research activities, specifically conducting an impact evaluation of key outreach and engagement activity, performing retrospective impact analyses, and designing new evaluation frameworks for future events.
