TELUS Health is a leading Employee Assistance Programme provider, offering emotional and practical support to client companies and their employees. We're expanding our Affiliate Counsellor Network in Ireland to provide face-to-face counselling services.
About the Role:
We're seeking qualified counsellors to join our network and provide face-to-face short-term counselling services to our clients. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their well-being in a professional, supportive environment.
Role Responsibilities:
• Manage online referrals promptly
• Contact clients to arrange appointments within agreed timeframes
• Provide short-term counselling (3-8 sessions)
• Submit timely written/verbal feedback and case notes
• Report risk cases to our Case Management Team
Role Requirements:
• Registration/accreditation with IACP, PSI, ICP, APCP, IAHIP, or equivalent
• If not accredited: Diploma-level qualification, 3 years post-qualification experience, 450+ counselling hours
• Experience in short-term counselling interventions
• Proficiency in assessment and support planning
• Understanding of organizational dynamics and workplace issues
• IT literacy (Microsoft Word, email, online systems)
• Professional indemnity insurance (min. €1,000,000)
• Access to a suitable, dedicated consulting room
• Regular professional clinical supervision
