About the Role
Sales Development Representatives are high-energy professionals who drive demand, awareness, and interest for market-leading cloud security solutions. They partner closely with Account Executive and Marketing teams to generate qualified sales leads, set meetings, and yield new deal opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Uncover and approach prospects to generate new business opportunities that fuel the sales pipeline.
2. Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory.
3. Research and build new and existing accounts by adding contacts, emails, and conducting strategic calling.
4. Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts to evangelize Okta and its On-Demand mode.
5. Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business.
Requirements
* Previous prospecting experience.
* Experience working to sales targets, KPIs, or under time pressure is a plus.
* Salesforce.com experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual who is goal-oriented.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
* Ability to understand customer needs and meet those needs with a successful product sale.
* A passion for the Tech/SaaS industry.
* Fluency in Dutch language & English.
