Your new company Hays has been retained to recruit a Drainage Engineer for an established, Cork-based engineering consultancy. This client has been in business for over 30 years in Cork, and has a large portfolio of upcoming projects.Your new role This role will involve working closely with the client's client's Civil Engineering team, primarily overseeing drainage projects throughout Cork and Ireland. Responsibilities are as follows:Be responsible for the design and project management of a range of Civil engineering projects with support from the senior management team.Projects include Flood Protection, Water and Wastewater. Working with engineering team, CAD technicians and clients to ensure project completion.Attending meetings with clients and suppliers.Performing flood risk assessments and assisting with flood prevention schemes.What you'll need to succeed Minimum of Level 8 Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.5-8 years' of experience working on Drainage and Civil Engineering Projects.Experience working on water/wastewater and flood risk assessment.Ability to work as part of a team.
