Elevate
Partners have partnered with a leading corporate advisory firm to hire a Senior
Manager for their newly established sustainability team. Suitable candidates will have experience working in a consulting or advisory firm
with a deep technical knowledge allied with a demonstrable track record of providing analysis and advisory insight on ESG & sustainability matters to
corporate clients. This role will provide a challenging and dynamic work
environment, interesting and varied projects plus scope for personal
development.
Role responsibilities will include:
· Being a key member of
the newly formed sustainability/ESG consulting team within an existing advisory
team
· Apply your
scientific and technical knowledge to develop solutions to local and global
problems and needs
· Handle complex
issues, analyse and interpret scientific data and information, & ultimately communicate your findings and ideas
· Deliver an
innovative approach to our sustainability service offering
· Help to develop
sustainability strategies and adopt best practices for corporate clients
· Work with existing
and potential clients on their ESG integration approach and stewardship
reporting requirements
· Develop strong
relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm, working alongside
others on all sustainability matters and industries as the team continues to
grow
Requirements
· Master's degree
with a specialisation in sustainable or environmental finance or data analytics
· 5 -7 years' work
experience in sustainability / ESG (environmental, social, governance matters)
within a corporate or advisory capacity.
· Strong
organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
· Ability to
research, analyse and present information to senior stakeholders
· Excellent written
and verbal communication skills including report writing and presentation
skills
· Working well under
pressure and to tight project deadlines
· Comfortable with
excel,PowerPoint and data analysis
