Capacity Planning for Data Center Excellence
AWS's Infrastructure Services oversees the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're the team responsible for ensuring our customers have uninterrupted access to innovative solutions.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other critical roles. You'll collaborate with colleagues across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing scalable capacity at minimal cost for our customers.
As a Capacity Planning Manager, you will drive initiatives to create and manage supply/capacity at our Data Centers in the APAC region. You will enhance infrastructure utilization and availability. You will effectively engage with various stakeholders (Technical Program Managers, Engineers, Supply Chain teams, Business Development Managers, Product Managers) in planning programs and collaborate with partners to deliver them efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Infrastructure Program Managers in Capacity Delivery Planning drive programs to identify, execute, and manage supply/capacity at our Data Centers in the APAC region. This role requires effective engagement with multiple AWS internal partners (Build TIPMs, Engineering teams, Supply Chain teams, Business Development Managers, etc.) to co-deliver planning programs. The TIPM engages with partners to drive the right outcomes, balancing customer requirements with site risks. Additionally, TIPMs must convey accurate information across all aspects of program communication, requiring excellent written and verbal skills.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software)
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming languages
Desirable Qualifications
- Advanced forecast modeling techniques including safety stock optimization and sensitivity analysis
- 3-5 years of Supply Chain planning experience (forecasting, planning, scheduling)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
- Experience analyzing data to inform data-driven decisions
