This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual leave: Annual leave entitlement is between 34-37 days, dependent on experience and proportionately less for less than 12 months' service.Responsibilities :Overall Purpose of the Post:The Respite Services Coordinator/Person in Charge (PIC) will be responsible for the overall management of the Respite Services for adults based in East Cork. This includes PIC responsibility for the residential respite service, the management of staff and providing the highest standards of residential respite and alternative respite services and individualised packages of care when required.The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of the service's policies and proceduressupporting best care and practice in disability services. The main responsibilities include working in partnership with service owners, theirrepresentatives/families, resource management, ensuring a safe, effective service to service owners, staff development, standard setting and monitoring,facilitating communication and managing staff teams to deliver the service.
