Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Account Manager to join their client's growing team.
This is primarily a field-based role, involving client visits to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, as well as develop new business opportunities.
Office attendance is required only once a month to meet with the reporting manager, providing a high level of flexibility and autonomy.
Responsibilities: Manage and retain a portfolio of existing commercial insurance clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and strong client relationships.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and referrals.
Meet or exceed agreed sales targets by up-selling and cross-selling relevant insurance products to existing and new clients.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service for clients.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities.
Key Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial insurance - we also have another role for people who have 2 or 3 years of commercial broking experience Proven track record in client acquisition and meeting sales targets.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a client-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also contributing to team success.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel frequently for client visits.
