Title: Senior HR Generalist

Reporting to: HR Manager

Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term

Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist to work in our client's manufacturing facility in Tullamore. The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the HR team, responsible for implementing and delivering HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.


Responsibilities:

1. Assist in achieving KPIs and targets in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement.
2. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures; seek continuous improvements to internal HR processes aligned with legislation; participate proactively in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
3. Maintain up-to-date training records and matrices to meet audit standards (FDA, ISO, TUV IMB, ENHESA, NSAI, IDA).
4. Develop best practices to reduce absenteeism, including documenting control procedures and managing leadership capability improvements.
5. Enhance performance management practices, focusing on quality appraisals, recognizing top performers, and managing underperformance.
6. Conduct disciplinary and grievance procedures fairly and consistently.
7. Support supervisors and managers with employee relations proactively and efficiently.
8. Report and escalate health and safety issues; promote a safe workplace and identify areas for improvement.
9. Ensure timely completion of payroll and management information reporting.
10. Assist the Talent Acquisition team with open roles and lead recruitment processes end-to-end.
11. Perform additional duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience:

1. 2-4 years of experience in training and HR roles within a manufacturing unionized environment, with strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and personnel management.
2. HR Qualification or CIPD Certification.
3. Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or Core systems is advantageous.
4. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership, with the ability to influence change.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Experience leading HR initiatives and process reviews.
8. Committed to adhering to Medical Devices and Supplies Guide to Compliance, Quality Manufacturing standards, and company conduct guidelines.
