Office Administrator / Receptionist (Maternity Cover) Location: Walkinstown
Reporting To: Area Manager
My client, a well-established food manufacturing organisation known for its commitment to professional excellence, is currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator / Receptionist to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This dual-function role combines traditional office administration with front-of-house duties and plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. As the first point of contact for customers, employees, and visitors, the successful candidate will represent the organisation in a professional and approachable manner while also providing essential administrative support to internal teams. Key Responsibilities Office Administration Assist in managing the weekly sales process, ensuring accurate docket entry and trackingMaintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate replenishmentsOrganise and maintain digital and paper-based filing systemsDraft, format, and prepare documents, reports, and correspondenceProvide support in finance-related tasks such as invoicing and expense processingReception Duties Greet visitors and clients in a warm, professional mannerAnswer, screen, and direct telephone calls and manage email correspondenceHandle incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveriesGeneral Support Provide ad hoc administrative assistance as required across departmentsThe Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a similar office-based or administrative role (1–3 years preferred)Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanourStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyHigh attention to detail and accuracy in all tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with standard office equipmentAbility to exercise discretion in handling sensitive or confidential informationA proactive and adaptable mindset with a "can-do" attitudeStrong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships across departmentsSelf-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer Competitive remuneration packagePension schemeLife insuranceSubsidised canteen facilitiesA supportive, collaborative work environmentThis role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a dynamic organisation while covering a key support function.
