About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to manage our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accommodation management roles within high-end hotels, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional Guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of Housekeeping operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
* Effective management of stock and costs to optimize departmental performance.
* Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team.
* Rostering aligned with business requirements.
* Staff training and development, including evaluating employee performance.
* Collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
* Responsibility for purchasing, storing, inventorying, and controlling housekeeping-related items.
* Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge among team members regarding room categories and amenities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Prior experience as an Accommodation Manager or Assistant in high-end, high-volume hotels.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A strong team leader who can motivate staff through example and lead by doing.
* Firm commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Ability to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.
* Fluent command of English both in spoken and written forms.
