Working either a 3 or 4 cycle shift responsible for machine Fault finding, repair and problem solving Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance Continuous improvement throughout the plant Welding/Fabrication maintenance Performs repairs of all buildings and equipment. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects checks and replaces e.g. bearings, seals, etc. Inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals. Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems. Ideally 1 to 15 years plus post apprenticeship experience. Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship qualifications (MAMF) Advantage having some machine shop experience Computer literacy.
