Finance and Administration Leadership Role

About the Role
This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of the Centre of Participation, Wellbeing, and Shared Learning Hub (COPWSLH).
The postholder will provide financial leadership and administrative coordination for this iconic development, working closely with internal teams, delivery partners, and SEUPB.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain financial systems, reports, claims, forecasts, and audits in line with SEUPB requirements.
Procurement & Compliance: Ensure all procurement follows public sector rules and provide guidance to teams and partners.
Administration & Oversight: Maintain efficient systems for monitoring, evaluation, payment processing, and partner liaison.
Partner Coordination: Liaise closely with internal staff and external project partners to support collaborative delivery and financial governance.
Training & Guidance: Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff and partners on SEUPB financial compliance and reporting standards.
Risk & System Management: Monitor financial risk, support audits and evaluations, and identify and implement improvements to finance and IT systems that enhance reporting and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications: Third-level qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience: Two years' recent experience in at least two of the following: financial planning, auditing, management accounting, or systems development.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience with computerised accounting packages, preparing financial/statistical reports for senior stakeholders, and membership of a recognised accountancy body.
Desirable Skills: Analytical thinking and attention to detail, budgeting and resource management, strong verbal and written communication, strategic planning and system implementation, and collaborative partnership working.
Benefits
Salary: £35,235 per annum.
Flexible Working: 37.5 hours per week with options for reduced hours, hybrid working, and flexible start/end times.
