Geotechnical Engineering Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering geotechnical input to projects and providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers and technicians.
About the Opportunity:
* You will be responsible for leading or assisting in leading the delivery of geotechnical input to projects.
* You will provide technical guidance, support, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and technicians.
* You will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a degree in Geology / Engineering Geology / Geotechnical Engineering.
* A commitment to pursuing chartered status in the foreseeable future.
* Adherence to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations.
* Experience of geotechnical software such as SlopeW, OpenGround, etc.
* Experience of mapping/drawing software – ArcGIS, Project Mapper, AutoCAD, Civil 3D etc.
* Expertise in preparation of Ground Investigation Tender packs, Scoping Ground Investigations and preparation of Specifications and Bill of Quantities.
* Proven experience in executing major projects.
* Experience in geotechnical design and reporting.
* Experience working on-site with Ground Investigation contractors, understanding of common Ground Investigative techniques, standards, and equipment.
