Role Purpose
To deliver high quality financial reporting, control, and analysis to support Viatel's strategic ambitions and super charged growth, while embedding robust financial practices in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of management and statutory financial reports
* Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
* Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of posting of general journals
* Maintain the fixed asset register
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Monitor cash flow and working capital
* Ensure compliance with tax and statutory regulations
* Support business partnering and financial projects.
* Assist with process improvement and standardization of tasks across the group
Qualifications & Experience
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience with ERP systems and Excel and Power BI
* Exposure to telecoms or digital or technology industry preferred
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Commercial awareness and communication skills
* Innovative and adaptable to a fast paced environment
* Team-oriented with ability to work cross-functionally.
