OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Electrical/Electronic Engineer role at Siemens Healthineers. This role supports manufacturing of complex, high-reliability medical devices, providing technical support to Manufacturing Operations for electrical/electronic assemblies, PCBs and subsystems, and leading root cause analysis for production issues.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to manufacturing operations for electrical/electronic assemblies, PCBs, and embedded systems.Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for production issues.Perform component-level failure analysis of PCBAs to support production and field returns.Participate in process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for electrical manufacturing processes.Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot test equipment, fixtures, and automated test systems used in production.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering group to solve complex problems for laboratories of any size.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with minimum 8 years relevant experience (alternative degrees considered with relevant technical experience).Experience in electrical/electronic engineering, preferably in the medical device industry or other regulated manufacturing environments.Hands-on experience with component-level diagnostics tools (oscilloscopes, curve tracers, X-ray/CT for PCBA analysis).Proven track record in problem-solving and root cause analysis in production settings.Experience with supplier collaboration and component lifecycle management.Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills; strong team player; experience in coaching and mentoring.Desirable: Design for manufacturability (DFM); PCB design with component selection; knowledge of power electronics, cabling routing; control systems engineering (PID tuning); EMC knowledge; experience with design tools (Mentor Graphics, Eagle, Altium, Proteus, OrCAD); Verification and Validation experience.What We Offer / About Siemens HealthineersWe value dedication to a greater cause; flexible and dynamic environment; excellent benefits for the right candidate.
