About Your New Job
* Manage costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final figures.
* Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, perform cost control, and generate cost reports.
* Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure accurate project costing.
* Oversee project developments with the assistance of the Commercial Director, ensuring financial efficiency and project success.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
* Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Provide detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
What Skills You Need
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, with a preference for residential QS experience.
* A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
