My client, a multinational based in West Dublin, has a requirement for a fully qualified accountant who should have a background within construction or a similar industry.

About Your New Job
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including group consolidation.
* Analyse cost, revenue, and pricing variances against budgets and forecasts.
* Conduct margin analysis by product, market, and project, providing actionable insights.
* Prepare/review working papers, analysis, and commentary to supplement management accounts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support commercial decision-making.
* Assist with statutory audits and annual inventory counting.
* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
* Prepare/review Intrastat, VIES, 46G, CSO, and other compliance returns.
* Ensure adherence to customs regulations and reporting requirements.
* Assist with regular stock reconciliations, working closely with the Production team to understand adjustments, pricing variances, and trends.
* Review multi-currency bank account reconciliations to ensure sufficient balances are maintained across bank accounts.
What skills you need
* Qualified Accountant coming from retail or a similar industry.
* Strong inventory accounting experience - this is a must.
* ERP system experience – ideally SAP.
* Group/consolidated accounts experience.
* Strong experience in cost structures, pricing structures, and financial planning.
* Mentor of more junior staff within finance.
