Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead the full automation and IT scope. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing user requirements for Delta V modules, reviewing and approving related design documentation, and partnering with local site project teams to scope changes on the Delta V system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop user requirements for Delta V modules
* Review and approve related design documentation
* Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the Delta V system
* Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development
* Contribute to commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing
* Ensure software is implemented in a secure and quality-driven manner
* Configure and test in development systems as required
* Provide technical guidance to local project teams on automation standards, including technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes
* Collaborate with internal Digital departments to ensure standard and secure implementation in line with company standards
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field, and at least 3 years of experience in Delta V application. A proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects is also essential.
