Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified nurse who will be flexible and adapt to the needs of the individuals they support within a respite environment. The role involves providing a safe, secure environment where individuals can participate in community and leisure activities, make choices, and enjoy a lifestyle that fulfills their potential and expectations while offering opportunities for new experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Work in a team environment with a person‑centred philosophy.
Participate in person‑centred planning, individual reviews and team meetings.
Attend and participate in training courses.
Actively contribute to team‑based performance management.
Qualifications
Possession of a nursing or recognised nursing qualification e.g. R.N.I.D., R.G.N, S.R.N., R.P.N., including current registration with An Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann.
Experience of working with people with an intellectual disability.
Full current driving licence with access to your own vehicle is desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team or on one's own initiative.
Flexibility and the capacity to embrace change in response to the identified needs of people we support.
