From high-energy concerts and lively festivals to corporate gatherings and banquets, you will ensure every event is flawlessly executed from concept to completion.This role is ideal for a senior hotel manager seeking a new challenge or an experienced events professional ready to take the next step in their career.About The RoleKey ResponsibilitiesCandidate ProfileEssentialEvent Planning & CoordinationLead advance planning and coordination of all events across Gleneagle venues.Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics and seamless execution.Manage vendor and contractor relationships, permit applications, and stakeholder communications.Develop and oversee event budgets, staff rosters, deployment schedules, and detailed event plans.Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety (H&S), legislative, and ISO standards.Event DeliveryOversee and manage live event operations, acting as Event Controller for major Arena events.Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure smooth event execution.Act as the primary on-site contact for event stakeholders and clients during events.Venue Maintenance & SafetyOversee the preventative maintenance and operational readiness of the Gleneagle Arena and associated venues.Ensure safety compliance and risk management protocols are upheld for all events, safeguarding staff, performers, and patrons.Festival Development & ExecutionCoordinate, plan, and deliver a calendar of festivals throughout the year.Play a key role in conceptualizing and launching new festival experiences.Minimum of 4 years' experience managing large-scale entertainment and/or corporate events.Proven track record of leadership and effective team management.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative processes.Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm under pressure.In-depth knowledge of H&S regulations and risk management in a live event environment.DesirableLevel 7 qualification in Event Management or a related field.Experience working within a hospitality or multi-venue setting.Skills NeededAbout The CompanyRooted in the heart of Munster and guided by the third generation of the O'Donoghue family,The Gleneagle Hotel Groupis more than a business — it's a legacy of hospitality, connection, and community.
