Join a specialist reinsurance team within a dynamic, data-driven insurance group. You’ll support the processing, analysis and administration of reinsurance transactions across a wide range of lines such as property, casualty, surety, marine, aviation, energy and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing and reviewing treaties (proportional and non‑proportional), facultative slips, bordereaux, and related documentation
* Maintain accurate records of reinsurance premiums and claims data, ensuring timely submission of bordereaux to partners
* Perform routine reconciliation of reinsurance accounts and ledgers
* Support the placing and renewal process for reinsurance cover, liaising with brokers, cedants and underwriters
* Analyse portfolio data, trends, claims patterns and exposure reports to highlight anomalies or opportunities
* Upload and maintain data in analytics and digital platforms; help implement process automation
* Generate internal reports and dashboards for underwriting, actuarial and finance teams
* Provide administrative support for reinsurance audits and compliance reviews
Skills & Experience Required
* 1–3 years’ experience in reinsurance, treaty administration, or credit control within a re/insurance carrier, MGA, or broker
* Basic understanding of treaty and facultative structures, Bordereau, slip mechanics, and reinsurance workflows
* Proficient in Excel; familiarity with other data/BI tools is a plus
* Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills – able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to manage several tasks concurrently and meet strict deadlines
* Degree or diploma in insurance, finance, business or analytics, or equivalent relevant experience
