OverviewEnsure packaging concentrate compliance requirements are met for all PGCS food and beverage plants globally. Act as regulatory approver for new packaging materials, raw materials and intermediates required for innovation or renovation of concentrate products.ResponsibilitiesSupport PGCS requirement to source compliant packaging and raw materials for integration & innovation projectsManage PRCS (Packaging Review system), documenting and managing the review and approval of Packaging tasks for PGCS plants globally, Interplant transfers and ad hoc reviews.Offer support (approx. 20%) to the Regulatory Affairs Intermediates team with completion of Raw Material Approvals in eICE system, Interplant transfers and ad hoc reviews.Ensure appropriate data management and systems usage to enable efficient regulatory approvalEnsure Food Contact Material compliance requirements are met for all PGCS food and beverageWork as part of cross-functional project teams providing regulatory guidanceProvide a contact point for regulatory matters relating to Packaging.Maintain working relationships with Corporate and Region RA, Quality, Food Safety, R&D, Procurement, Operations and Supply ChainLiaise with PGCS and Corporate Sustainability teams on topics including water re-useKeep updated on legislative changes & scientific developments on food & beverage packagingUse of formula management systems and RM dossiers to extract regulatory dataSupport and lead projects for food and beverage Regulatory changesQualificationsBachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Food Law, Nutrition, Food Science or a related technical disciplineMinimum of 2+ years' experience in a packaging or food regulatory role (or other Food / Engineering role)Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate regulatory prioritiesUnderstanding of food legislation worldwideExperience of working on product development initiativesExcellent IT skills with high level proficiency in databases, Office programs and communication toolsFor the purposes of external advertising we have called this role a Packaging Regulatory Affairs Specialist.
